Huace Group Takes “Meet Yourself”, ” Flight to You ” and Other Hit Dramas to MIPTV.

The 2023 Cannes International Television Festival (MIPTV) in France was officially launched today and will be held from April 17-19. Huace Film & TV brought several popular dramas to the festival, including “Meet Yourself”, “Flight to You”, “Hi Venus”, and “The Trust”. This marks Huace Film & TV’s return to Cannes for offline exhibitions after a three-year absence due to the 2020 pandemic.

MIPTV is the world’s most important TV and media exhibition, as well as the largest, most successful, and influential international marketplace for audiovisual products and digital content trading. This year, MIPTV celebrates its 60th anniversary and has attracted over 500 famous studios, distributors, content producers, and Fast-Channel companies from more than 80 countries around the world.

At this year’s event, Huace presented not only its own TV series but also TV series, such as “The Long River”, “Love Under the Floral Rain”, and documentaries like “The Proud Hunan Cuisine 2”, and “Taste of Youth Night Series” as the exclusive strategic partner of MANGO TV for overseas distribution. This promotion aimed to showcase the rich history and diverse food culture of the Chinese nation to the world.

This MIPTV also marks the first time that the cloud platform C-dramaRights enters the European market in an offline manner, focusing on promoting the diversification, scale, and standardization of current Chinese language copyright trading methods to European, North American, and Middle Eastern users.

China’s film and television industry has a long-standing relationship with the Cannes TV Festival. In 2016, “The Legendary Tycoon” became the first Chinese TV series to be officially screened at Cannes TV Festival. In 2017, “Eternal Love” was selected as the “World’s Most Popular TV Series”, making it the first Chinese TV series to be included in the list. At the Cannes Television Festival, Ms. Zhao Yifang, the founder of Huace Film & TV, was awarded the Order of Merit, making her the only Chinese media personality to receive this honor thus far.
